It was difficult to decide what to call this panorama. A significant part of the view is of the Duddon Estuary but Roanhead Solar Farm and Roanhead Crags are prominent, and I have discovered that the area of water below is Black’s Pond, “a flooded subsidence crater formed by the removal of haematite from the workings of the Woodhead Pit”. It was yet another lovely calm morning to fly the drone, if a little overcast.

I plan to return and take more aerial photographs when the weather allows, as the terrain all around this area is so varied in colour and texture.
