Aerial Artwork has the professional equipment to ensure you receive the high quality photographs and films you require without compromising safety. New developments in software and hardware technology are constantly monitored for items that may improve our aerial drone services.
The DJI Inspire drone has an unobstructed 360º camera view and shoots hi-resolution video and photographs. A three-way gimbal keeps the camera horizontal, regardless of the motion of the drone, ensuring ultra-stable aerial footage. The new 3.5x Z3 zoom lens increases the detail that can be captured from the air, without the need to fly any closer. The drone pilot can see a live feed from the camera on their monitor and a second monitor can be provided for the client to see the view from the drone too.
The Studio Assets Megamast is a 9 metre tall tripod, topped by a hi-resolution camera remotely controlled by Wi-Fi from a tablet or smartphone at ground level.
When elevated imagery is required in an urban area where it would not be safe to fly the drone, or you wish to record from up high over a long period of time, the Megamast allows Aerial Artwork to capture what you need.
Apple’s Final Cut Pro X software is the professional choice for all video editing and filmmaking. For editing regular photographs, Adobe Lightroom is used, in addition to Photomatix for converting HDR images.
Specialist software called PTGui is excellent when it comes to creating aerial 360° photographs. Finally, for creating 3D digital models, Photoscan by Agisoft has proven to be the best there is.
