“Flight” at Brockhole

This is the image of mine that was printed 4 metres by 2 metres and displayed at the entrance to the promenade performance of “Flight” by Geraldine Pilgrim, created as part of the 14-18 NOW celebrations. The audience had to walk over the aerial photograph to get out onto the terrace where the performance began.

When we went it was raining and windy but I feel the bleak weather may well have contributed to the atmosphere of despair in the tableau and actions the audience was presented with around the stunning grounds. It was a thought provoking experience, and unlike any other event I have ever attended.

The image was generated from a 360° photograph taken from 120 metres above Broackholewhich can be viewed HERE
