Backbarrow Ironworks Heritage Trust approached me in 2019 to request an aerial video of the remaining buildings of the Ironworks which were in the final stages of being preserved. The video was to be featured on the updated website to promote visits to the historic site. I suggested a 360° virtual tour would work well for the site and after showing examples to the trustees they approved. Unfortunately due to delays on site and then the pandemic the video and photography didn’t take place until November 2020 and the new website launched with the film (above) and the virtual tour (below) included in January 2021.
