I think I should let Malcolm Fell, Director of Cumbria Kart Racing Club, tell you about this project:
At Cumbria Kart Racing Club we had been looking for a way to promote our venue and club. We have been a karting venue for over 50 years, well known throughout the country for our track within our own sport. However, now with a fleet of our own karts and offering arrive and drive sessions as well as corporate events, we needed to show local as well as national people what an exceptional venue we had. I contacted Colin from AerialArtwork and set up a meeting to discuss options. Colin was very keen to take on the challenge and had excellent ideas for a short but comprehensive video. He visited the venue twice, took photographs and both video and drone images and produced a video that has been viewed over 12000 times and has reached 23.3 thousand people in the short time it has been uploaded. We would have no hesitation in recommending Aerial Artwork to promote your business and are happy to endorse their work.
I have to give a big thank you to Malcolm Fell for trusting me with the promotional video. It was an exciting opportunity to create something more dynamic than many of my recent videos, and it was particularly enjoyable to edit!
While at the circuit, I also created the 360° photograph above. It was captured from 120 metres up, with sunny views to the Lake District mountains in one direction and out to sea in the other. The wide-angle downward view of the whole circuit that you see below was created from this 360° photograph. This was printed on a large 6′ x 4′ panel and formed part of the club’s exhibition stand at the “Kartmania” Kart and Karting Show at Silverstone in November.
