These two split screen films clearly show the difference the restoration work has made at Burns Beck Moss Nature Reserve between December 2023 and September 2025, The footage shot before or early on in the restoration work shows the overground scrub and the straightened beck that had been diverted to try and create useable pasture. The recent footage shows the remeandered beck, the creation of cell bunds to help retain the water on the site, and the new boardwalk across the now very damp site. As soon as the work was finished nature started piling back in to the new habitat!
