The original intention for this film was to have a combination of ground and aerial footage, but on the day there was a really strong wind so I had to stick to using my regular cameras. The highlight of the opening day for Cumbria Wildlife Trust’s first community nature reserve was the resurrection of the bottle shaking ceremony leading to the blessing at the holy well. Despite the wind I managed to get surprisingly good quality audio clips from the speeches to help tell the story of the day. The children involved clearly enjoyed the event and the ambition is to now hold the ceremony every year.
