This piece of land is just two acres and is accessed by a purpose built bridge. The local community and volunteers have done an incredible amount in developing and improving the habitat, including planting 1000 trees and is now in the process of being extended
Virtual tours are an excellent way of exploring and interacting with the landscapes owned by the Friends of the Lake District. This can prepare you for visiting in person or replace the experience if it is not possible for you to visit. You can choose what order you wish to explore the points of interest. I get tremendous enjoyment from putting these tours together.
