Yorkshire Dales Millennium Trust – Wildflower Meadows

This little project for Yorkshire Dales Millennium Trust all happened at very short notice, but it worked out really well. They asked if I could get 360° photos of the wildflower meadows and I was able to go the very next day. Kathryn and I ened up having a very nice day out in glorious June weather, visiting traditional wildflower meadows at Askrigg in Wensleydale and Muker in Swaledale. Putting the 360° camera right down amongst the flowers and grasses within the meadows provided some very nice effects. I know the tour above has received some very appreciative feedback, and I will be happy to do some other meadows next year!

The unexpected highlight was seeing a hummingbird hawk-moth, and even better was being able to capture it sucking nectar from a Melancholy Thistle.
