Todd & Gunn Cottages Interior Videos

My speciality is aerial video and photographs, but this can be combined with interior videos or I can provide stand alone interior videos at a very cost effective price. Here are two videos recently produced for Todd & Gunn Cottages.

Walker uses love of Lake District to help with Alzheimer’s diagnosis

The “and finally” article on the ITV News at 6.30pm today (and possibly 10.30pm) features some drone footage from Aerial Artwork, shot this morning on the path up to the Old Man of Coniston. It complements a fantastic story so please watch, and share. It was a pleasure to contribute to this report. Thank you!

Ross Bay Retreat – New Video

Above is an updated version of my video created for Ross Bay Retreat ( in Dumfries & Galloway twenty months ago. We really enjoyed our stay there and if you like the idea of staying in a Scottish holiday cottage that looks directly out onto the sea then I would certainly encourage you to have a look at their website.

In the intervening months I feel I have learnt so much more about video editing and filmmaking. Although I am proud of the original I do think that this new film is an improvement on it for a number of technical and aesthetic reasons.

ITV Aerial Video Work

It was great to have my services requested by ITV this week. Yesterday I went to a well known local tourist attraction to capture some footage for a piece that was being created for This Morning. I was due to also do a little aerial filming of a certain celebrity but unfortunately he called in sick on the day! When I know when it is going to be used and aired on TV I will post details.

“One For Sorrow…” Fort Walney War Memorial

Stuart Bastik and Maddi Nicholson of Art Gene commissioned Aerial Artwork to produce a film to document their impressive and newly installed war memorial “One For Sorrow…” at North Walney. The challenge to capture the mood and unique location of the work was one to which I really enjoyed responding. I know Stuart and Maddi are pleased with the end result and I hope you enjoy it too. Although it takes a little longer to load up I would recommend watching it in 1080p (Full HD).

I would urge you to read all about the artwork on the Art Gene website by clicking on the link in red here:

Fort Walney Uncovered

The Rowley Estates

Here are the very satisfying results of many months of planning, capturing and editing through the summer and autumn of 2016. These eight promotional videos feature aerial footage that attempt to do justice to these stunning properties available to book as holiday homes at It was a big challenge to put these together to effectively show the properties in the context of their surroundings, but I hope viewers feel I have gone at least some way to achieving this. A collection of photographs were completed for each property too, some of which can be seen below.

South Walney Junior School Visit

I was delighted to be invited in to South Walney Junior School to meet and work with their Year 5 pupils this week. On Tuesday I gave a presentation about the aerial work I do and then explained about 360° photographs. On Thursday, despite the overcast and windy conditions, the year group ventured out to the shore with their teachers and created their own 360° photographs using the school’s iPads. I am now in the middle of processing these photographs and am looking forward to going back in to show them the results. The pupils were a credit to their school and it was great to witness their enthusiasm and appreciation. A big thank you to Caitlin Bates for organising the project.
